The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over;
thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard. — Katha-Upanishad
Welcome to a pilgrimage of transformation and transcendence, along the razor’s edge of Self-realization and awakening. Four years ago extraordinary events launched me on a spiritual path that has led me to India on the trail of my guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, and to deeper attunement with his teachings and Spirit… read more

“The land of healing lies within, radiant with the happiness that is blindly sought in a thousand outer directions.”
Aren’t you sick from all the junk that the world crams down our throats, polluting body, mind, and soul? All of the wars, inequality, environmental devastation, fear-mongering, and hate? Then journey with me to inner transformation and transcendence. Through meditation, service to others, and rightful living, we can heal ourselves from the pollution and make the world a better place.

Meditation is the most valuable tool for our personal development. Through the increasing powers of silence, stillness, willpower and concentration, we become masters of our minds. Control of actions begins with control of the mind. We can achieve anything – success at work, peace in our lives, physical and mental health – if we put our minds to it.
It is through small acts of kindness and selfless service – through divine love and humility – that humanity can evolve beyond the existential hell in which it now finds itself. Selflessness removes the barriers to truly loving others, and in turn, letting ourselves be loved. When we give of ourselves we share the greatest gifts of all: our understanding, compassion and care.
Rightful living involves living a balanced and purposeful life. Most of us know that material objects like fancy cars and expensive jewelry do not provide us with lasting joy. We find true happiness within ourselves, when we become the masters of our own minds and not slaves to our erratic desires. Through tolerance, self-control, calmness, and humility, we manifest joy within ourselves and the world around us.
